Stittsville Christmas Festival Concert 2010

This past Friday I volenteered my photographic services at the inaugural Stittsville Christmas Festival Concert.  The evening was filled with loads of local talent that provided tons of entrainment and heart.  Max Keeping hosted nine variety acts raising money to benefit the Catholic Education Fund Organization(CEFO), working to alleviate poverty in schools. There was music, dancers, seasonal fun & a military tribute during the festival concert.

You can download free images of the evening from my proof section here.  Enjoy!  Take a moment to drop us a note in the comments section to let us know what you thought of the evening and or the images.

Remembrance Day 2010 Stittsville Ontario

Today, I had the honour of attending my local Remembrance Day ceremony here in Stittsville.  Each year Dale Hogan Photography takes pause, to in some small way remember.  Remember the sacrifice, remember the bravery, remember the fallen.

This year, as our way of saying, “Lest we Forget”, we are freely offering the images captured at today’s commemorative service held in Stittsville.   Simply follow this link to our 2010 Remembrance Day Gallery for your free downloadable images.

My sincere thanks to all who have and continue to serve our great nation!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A very, very happy thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend, filled with memory making moments, great food and time with family and friends.

Debbie ~ Portraits

What a blast!  This is one of my all time favourite clients.  It’s true!  What you don’t know, is that Debbie is my big sister.  Yup, I’m the baby of the family and she’s been looking out for me for years.  Although, I think she still harbours a little bitterness toward me from when I was a baby.  As it turns out, the very first time she held me I peed on her.  OK, OK, in her face.  My bad.

More than a few years have passed since my early peeing days.  I don’t get nearly enough opportunity to spend with my big sis, as a good portion of Canada separates us.  Thankfully she did get back recently and we had a blast doing a shoot together.  I think she looks awesome!  Especially for her age. :~)

Love you Deb.  Please don’t kill me in my sleep.  :~)
