Well, here’s a little more on the new print driver that DYMO put out for the DiscPainter on Snow Leopard. I’ve done a little more digging around and found others who had a similar issues. That got me thinking that the driver was the issue. In part, that is true, however, updating the driver for the DiscPainter on Snow Leopard is a two step process. Granted the process could be made much more clear. Be that as it may, after installing the new driver, you must update the firmware. Sadly, because my last attempt to test the new driver ended in a small disaster, which included the destruction of my almost new print cartridge, I am unable to test this solution. I’ll be ording up a new print cartige shortly and I’ll post once I’ve tested this.
In the mean time, if any of you are running the DYMO DiscPainter on Max OS X Snow Leopard and happen to have had the same issues I did; Did you install the firmware update after installing the new driver? If not, would you do so and post back here in the comments section, letting us all know how it goes?
For your conveince, here is a link to the new DYMO print driver and firmware update for the DiscPainter.

I did all that the instructions say – software followed by firmware.
To no avail.
At first it wasn’t recognizing the printer at all – would just hang there. Than, when I did get it to recognize the printer & appear to be printing, all I get out is a BLANK disk with no printing on it. UGH!!!!!!!! Terribly frustrating!!
