The Wind, The Waves & The Brave

A couple of evenings ago, I got out of the office in the late afternoon and headed to the beach with the family.  We enjoyed a picnic supper and some R&R time.  Toward the end of the evening we made our way to one of a break waters and I took a few shots.  These ones are dedicated to a friend of mine who used to windsurf a lot.  I think he’d like to get back into it and I’m hoping this will give him the push he needs.  There is a large community of windsurfers that hits the beach almost daily not far from his house.  So my friend…GET YOUR BUTT IN GEAR!

Maybe next time these types of shots will have my buddy in them.   Enjoy!

Getting Down to Business

Here’s just a quick post for Friday afternoon.  We did a business portrait session this week that included a mix of formal and business causal shots.  Have a look and let me know which is your favourite.

Many thanks to all of you who participated in the walk and in the photo contest.  I had a blast leading the walk and seeing all the excellent images you guys produced.  Thanks a million everyone!  Don’t forget about our Flickr group where you can share your images with the entire Stittsville crew.  I’m sure everyone would love to see more images.

Here’s a look at Brian’s winning image, “Thistle”.
