If you’re like me, you’ve had enough of both your digital and physical mailbox being filled to the brim with other people’s unsolicited advertising and other junk mail. Most of us are aware that we can take control of our email inboxes and filter out junk. Hopefully by now you’ve got a good system in place to protect yourself from SPAM (Stupid People’s Annoying Mail). Sadly, most of us feel powerless to control the junk that ends up in our physical mail boxes at home and work. All that is changing!
If you’re a Canadian resident then I have great news for you. Canada Post has a program in place that allows you to take back some control of your mailbox and say no to junk mail. I’m thrilled with what the good folks at www.reddotcampaign.ca are doing. They’re raising awareness about this program and helping people just like you all over Canada to take back their mailboxes.
I recently purchased some of the Rod Dot Campaign’s waterproof stickers for my mailboxes. I’ve experienced an immediate reduction in mail. It actually feels weird to go to the mailbox and find nothing. I’m realizing that almost everyday I used to get junk mail. I can hardly believe how easy this is. I bought the stickers. I placed the stickers. I don’t get any unaddressed junk mail anymore. It was just that simple. They even provide you with a download of the sticker art that you can print out yourself.
So if you’re ready to take back some control of your mailbox, lower your stress and save a gazilllion trees over the next several years; head on over to www.reddotcampaign.ca and join the movement.
