Darling Daphne

Fun, hard working and willing to go the extra mile are just three ways to describe Daphne.  Of course, that far from encompasses all that she brings to the table.  This was our first time shooting together and I hope we’ll be doing it again.  We had a blast working at near light speed.  Our time together was filled with loads of laughs and provided a venue for the making of many wonderful memories.

Until next time Daphne.

Insane Asylum – Tia

Tia is a true talent.  She takes her modeling seriously while maintaing a wonderful sense of humor.  I’ve had the privilege of working with her off and on for a number of years now and it’s been pure pleasure.  Hard working, honest and kind hearted are just a few of the ways I’d begin to describe Tia.

For this shoot we wanted to have a little fun.  It was time to push the envelop and let the art take us for a ride.  I think we hit this one out of the park with help of our new friend and very talented makeup artist Paloma Lauren.  With these two talented women on the job you just can’t go wrong.

In the midsts of our crazy busy shoot and hilarious antics, we produced some impossible to ignore work, that I’ve given the pet name “Insane Asylum”.  Put on your best “you don’t scare me” face and check it out!

Back in Time with Tessa

When it comes to a easy to get-along with people, Tessa tops my list.  Her laid back, yet warm and friendly attitude is a pleasure to be around.  Whenever we have opportunity to work together there are always lots of laughs.  To top it all of she has great taste in music.

A while back we did some shooting.  It was a crazy night of hair, make-up and non-stop photos.  Here’s a few samples of what we created.

Coming BACK Online

So it’s been a couple of weeks since we made the move to Stittsville.  The house is in really good shape and I think almost all of the unpacking is done.  On the other hand the studio is still waiting for some dedicated time and lots of TLC.  We’ll be setting up a tempory space for the forseeable future.  It won’t be pretty but it will function even better than our previous space.

I’m excited to report that this week marks the first time I’ve (meaning my back) been able to sit long enough to get some work done.  It’s not perfect yet but I am glad to be working again.  I’ve had a number of models waiting for WAY longer than I’d like to get there hands on images.  I can’t thank them enough for their incredible patience and understanding.   Ladies I am currently working on your images.  I’ll be in touch soon!

Here’s a little taste of some of the work I just completed.   This is Elizabeth.  She is organized, sweet, fun, energetic and a pleasure to work with with.  Thanks for the great session Liz!

The Dust is Settling

After  whirlwind move the dust is beginning to settle.  It’ll be another week or so before the studio is up and running but everything appears to have made the move in one piece.  I’m on the mend after a injury (more than a month ago) and I hope to be back up to full steam soon.  When you love your work as much as I do it’s incredible hard to be away from it.
