Make an event out of it.  Choose a favourite location, throw on some jeans and sweaters and let’s have a ball!  I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to take a break from studio shoots and have some fun outdoors in the leaves, making memories.  Sure we can do the formal thing, but what do the kids think?

We’re about telling the story: your story.  What better way to do that than laughing and creating joyous memories in the bounty of Autumn’s colours.  Throw the kids on your shoulders or grab a pile of leaves and let’s start making a lasting memory.

Now booking outdoor fall portraits.  Give us a call.

Thanksgiving’s All Booked

I’ve got lots to be thankful for this year.  This includes being all booked for Thanksgiving weekend.  To those of you who have called this week to try and book your family portraits for the holiday weekend, my apologies.  I’d love to work with you to create a lasting memory so let’s plan and book something for the near future.  In fact we’re still booking fall portraits.  Don’t miss an opportunity to capture that special moment and make it a lasting memory.  Give us a call.

Enjoy your time with family and friends during the upcoming holiday.

“The moments of happiness we enjoy take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.”  ~Ashley Montagu~

Often when I experience interludes of pause I reflect on my children and the moments we’ve shared or the moments I’ve missed. During those times I’m reminded of how important each single irreplaceable breath of time is and how I need to do what I can to remember and pass on those moments where life happens.

A while back I shot with a sweet couple and their newborn. What a treat and what a beautiful memory. With children of my own it’s hard to think of anything more precious or more important to capture than a new life and its expectation. Don’t miss another moment. Give us a call; we’d love to tell your story.

Summer Memories 2

Summer memories are so much fun: being outdoors, spending time with family and friends.  Inevitably we end up making memories that will last a lifetime.  For me this often involves doing something looney or unexpected.  Nowadays I delight in capturing those moments for others so they can remember, share, and better tell their stories to others.

We’re now accepting advance bookings for outdoor fall, select Halloween, and Christmas portraits.  Call or email today to ensure we can fit you in in plenty of time.

Tell the Story!

Summer Memories

As summer’s lazy days are quickly giving way to autumn’s cooler evenings I’m reminded of some warm holiday moments. It’s enjoyable to pause and reflect on all the good times and happy memories I was able to create as I spent time with family, friends and strangers.

On one of my adventures in Alberta this summer I met up with some friendly climbers from Quebec. Here’s a shot that marks the occasion.
